CarbonClix Announces Launch of Its New Clix Store to Help Reduce the Environmental Impact of Online Shopping.

London, United Kingdom, May 15, 2013 --( Shopping on line has many advantages in terms of convenience and availability, not to mention price. However it does have a greater impact on the environment in terms of packaging and individual distribution, thereby increasing the overall carbon footprint and impact on our planet.

“CarbonClix launched the Clix Store in order to help combat the impact of convenience, without members needing to change their current shopping habits,” says Charlotte Carlsen Abraham, CarbonClix co-Founder. Members can access all aStore products through the Clix Store.

“An Apple iPad 3 for example has a lifecycle carbon footprint of 170kg CO2 and delivery is likely to be about the same again including the packaging and distribution,” says Stephen Abraham CarbonClix co-Founder, “purchasing any item through the Clix Store allows us to use the small commission we get to offset the purchase and delivery, meaning the shopper has a positive impact on the environment at no extra cost.”
