Capt. Alfredo Rackauskas.
Capt. Alfredo Rackauskas, SC, USN, completed 33 years of active
service and retired Oct. 1, 2012, after serving at Navy Expeditionary
Medical Support Command, Cheatham Annex, Naval Weapons Station,
Yorktown, Va. He received his bachelor's degree at Southern
Illinois University at Carbondale, Carbondale, Ill., and his
master's degree at National Defense University, Fort McNair, D.C.
with an additional master's at Webster University, St. Louis, Mo.
His previous duty stations include Defense Supply Center Philadelphia;
Naval Operational Logistics Support Center, Norfolk, Va.; U. S. Joint
Forces Command, Norfolk, Va.; Supreme Allied Command, Atlantic, Norfolk,
Va.; U. S. Commander-in-Chief, Special Operations Command, MacDill Air
Force Base, Fla.; Commander-in-Chief, U. S. Central Command, MacDill Air
Force Base, Fla.; USS Nimitz (CVN 68); Naval Training Center Great
Lakes, Great Lakes, Ill.; and USS Edward McDonnell (FF 1043).
