BANKING AND CREDIT NEWS-January 27, 2015-Caplin & Drysdale names new president


Caplin & Drysdale said it has named Beth Shapiro Kaufman president of the firm.

Kaufman joined the firm's private client group and board of directors in 2001. Previously, she served in the Treasury Department's office of tax policy where she was involved in legislative and regulatory developments affecting taxation of trusts and estates.

Scott D. Michel, who served the firm as president for eight years, will continue to hold a seat on the board of directors.
