Capital View buy.

A commercial project near the Arkansas Capitol drew an $850,000 transaction.

Capital View Properties LLC, led by Mark Babbitt, Kelly Joiner, Murray Haupt and David Pearlstein, purchased the Warehouse Liquor project at 1900 Third St. from the Roger C. Mears Family Trust.

The deal is backed with a 30-year loan of $765,000 from the trust.

The 6.3-acre property was assembled in three transactions totaling $162,000. The sellers were Gilbert and Elizabeth Caver, $88,000 in December 1977; the Manie Schuman Trust, $28,000 in February 1981; the Knox Gill estate, $23,000 in February 1981; and Edward and Shirley Held, $23,000 in May 1978.
