Pierce Brosnan is a wealthy divorcee who, when bankrupted by a French conman, teams up with his ex-wife (Emma Thompson) in a frankly improbable bid to steal a PS10million diamond from the villain. It disappoints thanks to limp gags and a plot that, while never dull, fails to approach believability. Still, the gamefor-a-laugh cast's sense of fun is infectious.
