Capario Launches Updated Version of Its Revenue Cycle Management Portal for Providers.

Updated Web portal offers advanced archival system for messages and reports, additional search capabilities and new report views for increased visibility

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- Capario, a leading provider of revenue cycle management solutions that connect healthcare payers and providers nationwide, today announced a new release of its revenue cycle management provider portal application. The new version will offer users improved visibility and access to their data. The changes and enhancements to the application were entirely based on customer feedback and focus groups conducted with current users.

"The improvements and enhancements that have been incorporated in the portal, such as expanded processed claim and remittance reports and the ability to view the CMS 1500 form, directly respond to the needs of the physician practices we serve," said Sarah Drake, vice president of EZClaim, a beta user of the new version. "The application also has a more user-friendly interface, which minimizes training time and increases efficiency."

Capario's portal helps submitters, including vendors, providers, billing groups and labs, streamline revenue cycle management processes and minimize A/R days through real-time services, including pre-service eligibility verification, claim submission, electronic remittance advice and business analytics reporting.

The updated portal version includes:

* Additional report views showing more detail related to payer payment on claims;

* Advanced searching capabilities for remittances through queries such as charge amount minimum and maximum, allowed amount minimum and maximum, and paid amount minimum and maximum;

* An improved centralized mailbox with an archival filing system to store all portal messages, past reports and remittances; and

* An updated user interface offering a more intuitive experience for clients.

"This is just the first step on our updated product roadmap, which includes many important new applications and services in the coming months," said Eric Arnson, vice president product management and business development at Capario, "We're excited about this portal update as well as our future plans for further product innovation."
