Cannabis arrests at house.

TWO people have been arrested and a dangerous dog seized after police raided a suspected cannabis farm in Wyke.

Officers found drugs paraphernalia and a quantity of fully grown cannabis plants during the search of the house on Griffe Drive.

An American pit bull-type dog was also taken from the garden, along with two puppies, found inside the house.

A man and a woman were arrested on suspicion of the production and cultivation of cannabis and abstracting electricity.

Officers delivered leaflets to nearby households explaining what residents should do if they suspect someone is dealing drugs in their area.

Inspector Osman Khan said: "This was a very successful raid. Not only did we close down a cannabis farm but we also took a dangerous dog off the streets and arrested two people."
