Candy's Molson looks a sweet buy; SPREAD BETTING.

Charles Molson 3.50 York Buy at 9 on index Henry Candy has been among the winners and, with the yard finding some form, it looks worth supporting this promising three-year-old to land his first race of the season, writes Graeme Rodway.

Charles Molson has improved on his juvenile form in two starts this year. He looked in need of the run when fourth behind today's rival Eccleston on his reappearance at Sandown and improved significantly for the outing when coming home well in fifth in a hot 6f handicap at Newmarket last time.

He was beaten a length and three-quarters into fifth by the reopposing Eastern Impact, but endured a troubled passage and would have gone close to winning with a clearer run. There is a strong chance he can reverse that form on 5lb better terms.

That effort on good to firm ground went a long way to proving this soft-ground winner handles a quicker surface and he looks capable of making his presence felt in a race where he will need only to finish in the first four to record a profit for buyers.
