Cancel of dialogue hurts Pak-India businessmen: PIBC.
LAHORE -- Business communities and corporate sectors of India and Pakistan are against the cancellation of a dialogue process between both the countries and recent developments on the issue harmed their feelings.
Chairman Pak-India Business Council (PIBC) Noor Mohammad Kasuri said talking to here on Sunday.
Kasuri, a member of the Pak-India Joint Business Forum (PIJBF) constituted by governments of both sides, said other members of the
forum had felt displeasure over halting of the dialogue.
Dialogues are the only way to resolve differences and disputes between both the countries, he said.
The PIBC chairman reminded Indian Prime Minister Modi to recall his statement on previous year's independence day when Modi said India would use Bhud and not youd to resolve its disputes with neighbours.
He said: Bhud is wisdom and Youd is war and it is time for Indian leadership to move ahead with wisdom.
Kasuri said: The leadership of both countries should intervene and put the dialogue process on the track.
There was an urgent need for working together for socio-economic uplift of people across the border, he said.
Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) should be enhanced to create an atmosphere of resolving issues between both nations, he added.
