Canada : IA CLARINGTON INVESTMENTS introduces dollar-cost averaging service.

IA Clarington Investments has introduced a dollar-cost averaging service to help investors to make steady investment in markets.

The firm is offering this service on 21 of its mutual and corporate class funds, such as the strategic fund family handled by Dan Bastasic; the focused fund family handled by David Taylor; and the tactical fund family handled by Ben Cheng.

Eric Frape, SVP of products and investments at IA Clarington Investments, said, Our new service enables investors to systematically invest in the markets throughout the year, which can have advantages over making a single lump-sum investment. Dollar-cost-averaging can help mitigate volatility in markets, benefitting investors as more fund units can be purchased when prices are low and fewer when prices rise.

According to IA Clarington Investments, the plan is easy, reliable and suitable for customers. It is also a free program.
