Canada : Competition Bureau invites feedback on revised abuse of dominance guidelines.

The Competition Bureau has published a draft version of its revised Enforcement Guidelines on the Abuse of Dominance Provisions for public comment. The guidelines provide an overview of the Bureau's enforcement approach to the abuse of dominance provisions of the Competition Act.

The revised guidelines include several updates, such as enhanced guidance on how the Bureau assesses certain types of anti-competitive conduct, examples that illustrate how Bureau analysis may be conducted and how the Bureau considers potential remedies when enforcing the Act. Once finalized, the revised guidelines will replace the current guidelines on the abuse of dominance provisions.
