Cameron to use Obama-style autocue prompter for speeches to win over voters.

London, July 5 (ANI): British Prime Minister David Cameron will now use a Barack Obama-style autocue prompter instead of notes to try and increase trust with voters.

According to sources Cameron will use the device so he can look his audience in the eye during speeches, the Daily Mail reports.

He will use the device because experts have told him that using a paper script, which makes him occasionally glance down, can look shifty.

It will only be used on big issues like the National Health Services, pensions reform and deficit reduction, the paper said.

Cameron recently tried out an autocue for the first time at the Local Government Association, during a speech on the future affordability of public sector pensions.

According to a source, the trial had been a 'success' and would be used more over the coming months.

"He is not going to become like Barack Obama who uses an Autocue to make the briefest announcements," the paper quoted the source, as saying.

"But he is going to use the system more because it is so important that people feel they can trust him," he added. (ANI)
