Camera system improves analyzer.

Booth 1957. Hitachi's Real View camera system, the RV3TG, is the newest option for the STA7200 Simultaneous Thermogravimetric Analyzer. It offers a streamlined design that features a higher resolution camera, enhanced lighting configuration and improved thermal protection for the camera. The integrated design also allows the camera system to move with the furnace, meaning it is now compatible with the optional autosampler. The powerful visual data can offer clues about sample geometry, color and morphology. The data analysis software package makes it easy to overlay snapshots with thermal data or create a movie that links thermal data to visible events, such as phase changes. New software features provide the capability of sample size measurements, while variable zoom levels allow close-up study of the sample as it changes. Applications range from education to forensics.
