Camera plea to secure park.

A CAMPAIGN has been launched for a spy camera to be installed at a Barry park plagued by anti-social youths.

Problems at the refurbished Iolo Park, on the town's Treharne estate, have been raised at meetings between residents and police.

Residents have now called for a CCTV camera to be installed to record the incidents and identify those responsible.

They have been backed by local councillor Richard Bertin.

He said: "As evidence of any problems at the park is required as part of an application for a CCTV camera, I would urge residents to report incidents in or around the park to the police so that they can be logged."
