Cambodia : Capacity Building Workshop on Formulas of Trade Liberalization Services: Transferring Positive Positive Tables to Positive Tables.

On Monday, December 12, the month of the year, 2561 February 26, 2018 the Ministry of Commerce in collaboration with the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) organized a capacity building workshop on the formulation of trade liberalization: positive transfer table service promised to table a negative pledge ( "T rade In Services Liberalization Method: Migrating from Positive to negative Scheduling (Positive to Negative List)"), chaired by HE Health Sophea, Commerce Under Secretary Jeremy Gross, head of the Institute for Capacity Building ERIA Ms. Maura Ada Decosterd speakers facilitation skills and a working group with the participation of trade negotiations of the Ministry of Trade and Services Minister post in charge of trade, services and representatives of relevant ministries.

At the workshop, the main objective was to build more capacity for negotiators and officials in trade services on trade liberalization, special services, transfer of positive Positive Lists to negative Negative List, a new turning point for Cambodia. In addition, Maura Ada Decosterd is a professional speaker and has shared experiences on key issues such as fundamental principles and negotiation theories, significance and relevance of trade, service delivery planning and formulation, and facilitating direct action on contracting tables.

During that occasion, HE Sok Sopheak expressed his appreciation for his contributions to capacity building and projects in Cambodia. In addition, HE also asked the ERIA Institute to support Cambodia and continue to organize more seminars, especially training of trainers for service trade negotiations. In response, Jeremy Gross, head of the ERIA Institute for Capacity Building, also accepted the proposal and pledged to continue to support Cambodia further.
