Cam claims unemployed are workshy; BENEFITS.

DAVID Cameron yesterday took a swipe at people on benefits, saying too many were "swinging the lead" by refusing to get a job.

He insisted the Tories were right to curb welfare and said pay increases for workers had been outstripped by a rise in benefit payments.

The PM said: "We ask people what's unfair about Britain, they will say what is unfair is I'm working hard, but there are people swinging the lead on welfare, who are not making the effort."

Labour's Grahame Morris hit out at Mr Cameron and said: "He has no idea about the hardship people are suffering because of him."
