Calyon Americas Announces New Executive Appointments in Loan Syndications Group; Peter Kelly Named Head of Group.

NEW YORK -- Calyon Americas, the corporate and investment bank of the Credit Agricole Group in New York, today announced several new appointments in its Loan Syndications Group, including naming Peter Kelly, Managing Director, as its Head.

Mr. Kelly succeeds Barbara Kellc, Managing Director, who has been named Chief Operating Officer of the Credit Markets Division, reporting to Jerome Le Jamtel, Managing Director and Head of the Credit Markets Division.

In other appointments, Laurent Deroy, who has been with Calyon since 1991, was named Head of the Loan Syndication Sales and Trading Team, on which he has served since 2000. Francois Coussot, who has been with Calyon for over 19 years, was appointed Head of Loan Operations, but will continue his role as Head of Project Finance Syndications. Amy Trapp continues as Head of Loan Syndication Origination and Structuring.

Mr. Kelly was formerly head of the Loan Syndications Sales and Trading Team. He joined Calyon in 1994. Ms. Kellc, a 14-year Calyon veteran, headed the Loan Syndications Group since 1999.
