Marian McNab was a much loved Almondbury widow whose death at the weekend is much mourned by her family and friends.
But their grief has been made all the harder to bear by the thief who broke into Mrs McNab's home, on the day that she died.
Family members, distraught at the sudden loss of a woman who had lived in the same house all her life, could not believe that someone had stooped so low as to break into the home that had been in her family for generations.
It is a burglary that has shocked family, neighbours and appalled local police. Few things can comfort the McNab family at present, but seeing this thief caught might just help put their minds at rest.
