8 March 2016 - UK-based database marketing solutions company Callcredit Information Group has acquired UK-based customer experience management specialist Numero, the company said.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Established in 2001, Numero has an international and UK client base operating in six core sectors which are complementary to Callcredit Information Group, including retail, finance, telecoms, logistics, utilities and public sector.
The Numero acquisition gives Callcredit Information Group the application development capability to speed the delivery of custom solutions across industries, the group said.
This includes extending the end-to-end delivery of high growth credit and fraud solutions as well as providing direct customer interaction.
The Manchester-based company has experienced rapid growth since its inception and employs 74 people at its office in Stockport.
Callcredit Information Group specialises in database marketing solutions, credit referencing and software analytics and fraud, and is an expert in managing consumer data for businesses across every sector.
Founded in 2000, the Group includes the UK's second largest credit reference agency and employs approximately 1,000 professionals across Leeds, Kent, Bath, London, and Warrington and also has offices in Japan, China, Dubai and Lithuania and agents working across international markets.
In 2014 Callcredit was acquired by private equity business, GTCR.
