Call For Papers for ASTM symposium on Corrosion Monitoring.

ASTM International, West Conshohocken, PA, has announced a Call For Papers for the Symposium on Advances in Electrochemical Techniques for Corrosion Monitoring and Measurement, to be held May 22-23, 2007, in Norfolk, VA.

The symposium, sponsored by ASTM Committee G01 on Corrosion of Metals and its Subcommittee G01.11 on Electrochemical Techniques for Corrosion Monitoring, will be held in conjunction with the May 23-24 standards development meetings of Committee G01.

The symposium will cover the use of electrochemical techniques for corrosion as applied to monitoring, measurements, new test methods, and life prediction/modeling. The objective is to provide a forum for discussing the latest advances in electrochemical techniques as they relate to the corrosion of metals.

To have a presentation considered for the symposium, presenters/authors must complete an online Abstract Submittal Form and submit a 250-300 word preliminary abstract by August 4, 2006. Accepted paper presenters/authors will be notified by October 4, 2006. To submit an abstract, visit www.astm.org.
