Cali leases 25% -plus of building to PSE&G.

Cali Associates has leased over 46,000 square feet of office space at 20 Commerce Drive in Cranford, New Jersey to PSE&G, according to John J. Cali, founding partner of Cali Associates.

PSE&G signed a long term lease for the entire 46,000 square foot fourth floor of 20 Commerce Drive. The public utilities organization will be operating their Northern Inquiry and Accounting Center (NIAC), a 24-hour emergency repair service, out of the space. They plan to move in December of 1992, according to Albert Spring, a partner of Cali Associates.

The building is located directly on the Garden State Parkway in Union County.

Telecommunications was the biggest concern for PSE&G.

Constructed in 1990 and commonly known as the "Clocktower" building, 20 Commerce Drive contains 176,000 square feet of Class-A office space. The four-story building, designed by Swanke Hayden Connell Architects, features two wings joined at a 55-foot central glass atrium lobby.

Several of the development's corporate amenities include three computerized elevators, a full service cafeteria, four-story glass atrium, storage facilities, sophisticated energy conservation systems, 30-foot by 30-foot bay sizes loading docks and on-site parking with 88 covered executive spaces.
