On the Horizon

This fall, the U.S. Department of Education's Office of English Language Acquisition will host the Sixth Annual Celebrate Our Rising Stars Summit, Oct. 29-31 in Washington, D.C. Designed to help educators of English language learners in all grades achieve academic success, the summit will highlight best practices and research, as well as provide an opportunity to network with policymakers at local, state and national levels.
