CADBURY have been accused of short-changing customers by selling a huge variety box with just eight biscuits inside.
Social media posts show disgruntled customers opening the Cadbury Biscuit Assortment.
One said: "Cadbury's are quite literally taking the biscuit. I saw eight biscuits and thought they would be double-stacked. To my amazement, it was just one biscuit in each compartment. What angered me was the plastic tray inside the box had been built up by at least an inch to make it look like it was deeper than it was."
According to Cadbury's website the box, which costs PS1.10, is a "107g Cadbury Biscuit Assortment Box - Cadbury Milk Chocolate Biscuits in seven varieties".
Twitter user Tom P said: "Fullsized box to house eight measly biccies. Sadbury more like."
A spokeswoman for Cadbury said: "We do not believe our packaging is misleading as the weight of our products is clearly labelled."
