CYTOPROBE CORP. ANNOUNCES MEDICAL ADVISORY BOARD

 SAN DIEGO, July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- CytoProbe Corp. (NASDAQ: CYTP), announced that the following distinguished scientists have signed agreements to serve on the company's Oncology Medical Advisory Board (OMAB):
 -- Max Willscher, M.D. -- practicing urologist in Manchester, N.H., co-inventor of the cell brush device and medical author. Willscher is a member of the American Urological Association's (AUA) New Technology Committee.
 -- Ruth Katz, M.D. -- co-chair of Cytopathology and Professor of Medicine, University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC), Houston. Katz is also chief of Image Analysis at MDACC and an international author of more than 170 publications.
 -- Bryant Hudson, M.D. -- practicing urologist in Montgomery, Ala. Hudson is state surgeon for the Alabama National Guard, a member of the AUA and a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine.
 -- Howard Gratzner, Ph.D. -- private cytopathology consultant in Houston. Gratzner was director of image analysis for the University of Miami Department of Medicine for 15 years. He was also a National Cancer Institute Fellow.
 The OMAB's purpose is to provide scientific consult on the medical development and use of CytoProbe's cell brush device for early detection of cancer.
 CytoProbe operates two primary businesses: The exploration and development of oil and gas reserves and the manufacturing and marketing of specialty medical products.
