CYTOGEN WELCOMES MARY BEALS AS DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS

 PRINCETON, N.J., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Cytogen Corporation (NASDAQ: CYTO) announced today that Mary Beals has joined the company as director of Corporate Communications, with responsibility for investor and media relations activities.
 Beals has nine years of diversified experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including investment research and analysis in the generic drug industry and specialty pharmaceuticals at Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc. in New York. Her most recent position was director of Commercial Development-Oncology and Government Relations at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company in Lawrenceville, N.J.
 Beals joined Squibb as manager of Investor Relations in 1989 and continued in that position for Bristol-Myers Squibb after the merger. In 1991, she moved to Commercial Development in the pharmaceutical group as manager, Commercial Development-Europe and was promoted to director of Commercial Development in 1992. Beals earned her B.A. in psychology from Brown University in Rhode Island and her M.B.A. in finance from Fordham University in New York.
