CYBERTEK(R) LICENSES NEW BUSINESS EXPEDITOR(TM) TO PENN MUTUAL

DALLAS, Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- CYBERTEK Corporation (NASDAQ-NMS: CKCP) has signed licensing agreements with The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company for the use of CYBERTEK's New Business Expeditor. The agreements include related consulting and implementation assistance in addition to the software license.
Using the latest in client/server technology and expert systems, New Business Expeditor automates the entire new business process from the time a proposal is produced through delivery of a policy to the insured. New Business Expeditor provides electronic links between each member of the life insurance enterprise, including the agent, information provider and the home office. And using CYBERTEK's patented Judgment Processor(TM) (a case-based expert system), New Business Expeditor makes underwriting decisions based on knowledge acquired from a company's underwriters.
"This agreement with Penn Mutual is an indication of how our systems can meet the needs of life insurance companies looking to reduce the time and cost of selling, underwriting and issuing a policy," said Vaughn W. Morgan, president and chief executive officer of CYBERTEK.
Founded in 1969, CYBERTEK provides information management systems to the life insurance industry. Dallas-based CYBERTEK is traded over-the- counter on the NASDAQ National Market System under the symbol CKCP.
