CYBERARMOR PERSONAL FIREWALL INTEROPERATES WITH CONTIVITY.
CyberArmor is an enterprise-level personal firewall suite designed to enforce centralized, policy-based security for remote user communications to a corporate network. CyberArmor focuses on "Intrusion Prevention" by pro-actively detecting, analyzing and securing VPN communications. Nortel Network's Contivity VPN Switch is a single hardware device that provides routing, firewall, bandwidth management, encryption, authentication, and data integrity for secure tunneling across managed IP networks and the Internet.
CyberArmor selects the active policy by differentiating between users on the corporate network, when the Contivity VPN session is active, or when they are surfing the Internet. These environmentally sensitive policies (ESP) allow the system administrator to provide the right amount of security at the right time.
Stacey Lum, president and CEO of InfoExpress said, "Were very pleased that CyberArmor has been recognized as interoperable with Contivity. Our products have been designed to integrate with Nortel Network's VPN products, and we're looking forward to this extension of our relationship."
Features of CyberArmor include the following:
Centralized management, allowing for proactive security and easy updates.
Environmentally Sensitive Policies differentiate between users on the corporate network, when a remote VPN session is active, or when they are surfing the Internet.
Reduces bandwidth requirements through granular downloads.
Custom reports generation through database.
Automatic detection of Nortel's Contivity VPN client software.
