CW Awards 2018: Full list of winners revealed in Dubai.

The winners and highly commended entries of Construction Week Awards 2018 were named during a gala ceremony held at Dubai's JW Marriott Marquis hotel on 4 December.

Among the big winners of the night was ALEC, which added another CW Awards trophy to its cabinet after being named Contractor of the Year at the 2018 ceremony. The win marks ALEC's return as Contractor of the Year - a title it won for five consecutive years between 2012 and 2016.

In addition, the UAE construction giant's Johan Moolman was named Project Manager of the Year at the CW Awards 2018. Moolman was Highly Commended in the category at CW Awards 2016, and his win last night, according to select members of the jury, reiterated the professional growth noted by CW Awards' highly commended and shortlisted finalists.

Equally successful at CW Awards 2018 was fellow UAE contracting giant ASGC, which bagged the winner's trophy under the Hospitality Project of the Year for its work on Dubai Arena. ASGC was also named Highly Commended Contractor of the Year in a close race with ALEC, and its Bluewaters project won it the Highly Commended Residential Project of the Year title.
