CULLIGAN AND MERRILL LYNCH REACH AGREEMENT

 NORTHBROOK, Ill., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Culligan International Company has reached an agreement with Merrill Lynch to offer bottled water services to its facilities nationwide. Culligan will service the estimated $1 million account through its domestic network of 750 independently operated dealerships.
 John Adams, department manager of Facilities Purchasing at Merrill Lynch, said the firm "wanted a high quality product and needed it supplied on a national basis. But once we began discussing specifics, we realized that the contract would result in substantial cost savings." Additionally, Merrill Lynch will be able to consolidate its billing procedure.
