CTP take action against 2,182 juvenile drivers.

LAHORE -- City Traffic Police (CTP) have taken action against 2,182 juvenile drivers during a campaign to control accidents.

Chief Traffic Officer Tayyab Hafeez Cheema said that strict action was taken against juvenile drivers in the campaign launched to discourage them, a spokesman for Traffic police said.

The CTO said that accident rate had significantly decreased owing to the CTP campaign against juvenile drivers.

He directed the SPs and DSPs to take action against juvenile drivers without any discrimination and utilize all available resources to make the campaign successful.

He also directed the CTP Education Unit to educate the people at all important thoroughfares in the city regarding consequences of juvenile driving and other traffic rules.
