CTN AIRS WHITMAN INAUGURAL EVENTS LIVE FOR NEW JERSEY CABLE SUBSCRIBERS TUESDAY, JAN. 18, 11:30 A.M. ON CTN

 TRENTON, N.J., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The Cable Television Network of New Jersey (CTN) will air "The Inauguration of the 50th New Jersey Governor, Christie Todd Whitman LIVE" on CTN Tuesday, Jan. 18, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
 The Inaugural program will open with coverage of several Pre- Inaugural events. The first segment will give highlights of the Reception for Governor-Elect Whitman at the Newark Museum on Friday, Jan. 14. Entertainment at the event includes a special musical tribute by the renown Newark Boys Choir. The second segment will showcase the New Jersey-One Family Exhibit at the Atlantic City Convention Center and the Concert with Barry Manilow following the exhibition. CTN Affiliates Suburban Cablevision and Garden State Cable will tape the weekend events for CTN.
 Live coverage of the Swearing-In Ceremony for Governor Whitman from the Trenton War Memorial at 12 noon and the Inaugural parade immediately following the ceremony proceeding from the War memorial past the State House will be aired in its entirety.
 Studio commentary on the event will be provided by Gene Dillard, NJ Capitol Correspondent and host of CTN's public affairs program "State of the State" and Neil Upmeyer, Editor for New Jersey Reporter Magazine and host of CTN's "State of the State: On the Road."
 CTN is the only 24-hour statewide channel providing programming focusing on New Jersey for the Garden state. CTN is a service of the New Jersey Cable Operators. The Network is part of basic cable service for 2 million New Jersey homes. CTN can be seen on 35 cable systems throughout New Jersey on the following channels.
