CT Business Travel expands with buy of Medway Travel.
21 February 2012 - British corporate travel agency CT Business Travel said on Tuesday it had bought domestic travel management firm Medway Travel Limited, as part of its growth strategy.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
CT Business Travel, a Uniglobe member, closed the deal on 9 January after months of negotiations with Medway and following previous contacts with other several potential targets, it said in a press release.
Medway Travel will keep its brand and staff after the deal. Through the combination, Medway will gain the Uniglobe status and thus have access to better industry rates, as well as the opportunity to extend its offering to international businesses, the buyer said.
With this deal, CT Business Travel aims to become a top independent corporate travel services provider in South East England.Country: UKSector: TourismTarget: Medway Travel LimitedBuyer: CT Business Travel
