CSW implements new waste system

Consolidated Waste Services, Inc. (CWS) will introduce a new solid waste collection system in October for its residential customers in Plumsted, New Jersey, announced Bruce Rosetto, president. The company will also incorporate free curbside recycling through its affiliate, Rosetto Recycling Center, Inc. Both companies are subsidiaries of Consolidated Waste Services of America, Inc., based in Toms River, New Jersey, one of the largest integrated waste management and recycling groups in southern New Jersey.

CWS handles most of Plumsted's 1,900 homes where waste disposal is individually contracted by residents and businesses. The company is implementing a new cart collection system that enables its drivers to collect curbside trash automatically through mechanized fork lifts without ever leaving the vehicle. The system works in conjunction with a standardized cart, offered in three sizes and provided free to customers.
