CRYOLIFE, INC. APPOINTS NEW CFO

 ATLANTA, July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Donald J. Blankers was appointed vice president and chief financial officer of CryoLife, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: CRYL), it was announced by Steven G. Anderson, president and chief executive officer of the company.
 Prior to joining CryoLife, Blankers held the position of chief financial officer for the National Data Corporation, a NASDAQ company providing computer based information services and NIMSLO Corporation, a manufacturer and marketer of camera equipment.
 Blankers has also held financial executive positions with American Standard, Inc., PEPSICO and The Rawlings Sporting Goods Company.
 As a practicing Certified Public Accountant, Blankers worked for seven years at Omaha, Neb., and Rochester, N.Y., offices of Arthur Andersen & Co., serving clients in both foreign and domestic markets.
 Blankers holds a B.S. degree in business administration from Morningside College, Sioux City, Iowa. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Executive Institute.
 Founded in 1984, CryoLife, Inc., is a leader in the development and commercialization of technology for ultra-low temperature preservation ("cryopreservation") of viable human cardiovascular and orthopaedic tissues for transplant. The company uses proprietary or patented processes to disinfect, preserve, store and transport human heart valves, veins, and connective tissues for use in cardiac, vascular and orthopaedic surgeries.
 The company is also the exclusive worldwide distributor for Bravo Cardiovascular, Inc., implantable porcine (pig) cardiovascular devices.
