CROWN AMERICAN REALTY TRUST ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF EXECUTIVE VP

 JOHNSTOWN, Pa., Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Crown American Realty Trust (NYSE: CWN) announced today that Frank T. Lazorchak, formerly executive vice president of asset management, has resigned for personal reasons. Crown is actively seeking a successor for this position. In the interim, Mark Pasquerilla, Crown's president, is directing the company's asset management function.
 Crown American Realty Trust, a real estate investment trust, is the general partner of Crown American Properties, L.P., a Delaware limited partnership, which owns, operates and develops regional shopping malls in Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, New Jersey, Tennessee and Georgia. The current portfolio includes 23 regional shopping malls.
