MELTHAM: Feb 4: Thief attempts to force open rear door at Huddersfield and District Family History, Huddersfield Road. No entry gained. Feb 6: Water tub stolen from allotment at Robert Ashton Memorial Park, Huddersfield Road. Feb 6: Vandal causes damage to boundary fencing by unknown means at Morrisons, Station Street. Feb 8: Vandal punctures tyre of Toyota Hilux. Suspect is male, tall, dressed in black, and had 'a big bald patch on the top of his head and his hair was dark and all stuck out'.

HONLEY: Feb 4: Burglar forces open garage and shed, enters and steals brass and copper piping. Feb 8: Burglar throws canvas bag over top of spiked security fence and climbs over. Uses stone to smash front near and offside windows of Ford Transit. Nothing stolen. WOOLDALE: Feb 5: Thief distracts staff and steals iPad at Hepworth Motor Company, Huddersfield Road.

HOLME: Feb 5: Thief steals stone slates by climbing onto garage roof. Feb 6: Thief steals stone slates. THONGSBRIDGE: Feb 6: Thief steals Ford Transit using keys left in ignition.

NEW MILL: Feb 10: Thief unscrews hinges on garage side door, enters garage and searches. Nothing stolen.
