CREST BAKING SODA RECEIVES ADA SEAL

CINCINNATI, May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE: PG) today announced Crest Baking Soda has received the American Dental Association's seal of acceptance. In awarding its seal, the ADA said Crest Baking Soda is effective at preventing cavities when used as part of a conscientious oral hygiene program, including regular professional care.
"This is terrific news for the many consumers who prefer the clean mouth feeling baking soda provides, yet don't want to sacrifice 'ADA approved' cavity protection," said a spokesperson for Crest. "By meeting these two important consumer needs, at a cost that is comparable to other Crest varieties, Crest Baking Soda represents a real value to consumers."
Crest Baking Soda is the most recent in a long line of Crest products to receive the ADA seal. Crest was the first toothpaste to be awarded the ADA seal in 1960, and is the number one recommended toothpaste brand by dentists to their patients.
Crest Baking Soda is broadly available throughout the United States. It contains the same cavity-fighting fluoride ingredient as all Crest toothpastes and is priced to retailers comparable to other Crest toothpaste varieties.
