CRAIG SWAN'S MAN BY MAN.

EUROPA LEAGUE CRUNCH... EUROPA NeilLennon 7 Often accused of tinkering too much, he mixed things up again.

Zaluska, Bangura and Wanyama did not let him down and his tight midfield system helped Celtic give as good as they got. Lukasz Zaluska 7 Polish keeper was a shock recall in place of Fraser Forster and is more comfortable with his feet. Fine save from Isla before spot-kick heartbreak.

Adam Matthews 6 Coped with his defensive tasks and got forward from right-back in the first half but struggled to move up the park after switching to the left.

Daniel Majstorovic 7 Much-maligned Swede coasted the first half but was tested more after the restart and survived penalty shout after shouldering Badu. Charlie Mulgrew 7 Replaced Glenn Loovens at centre-back and was composed. Made a series of important tackles and almost scored with two stunning free-kicks. Joe Ledley 5 Midfielder was moved to left-back and gave his all. Battled manfully in the alien role before being replaced by Mark Wilson at half-time. Victor Wanyama 8 Kenyan took Kayal's usual position of patrolling in front of his two central defenders. Broke up attacks with sharp tackling. His positional sense and use of the ball were exemplary.

Beram Kayal 7 Skipper in absence of Scott Brown and more advanced than usual. Unluckily booked for decking Badu but that did not stop him biting into challenges and driving his team on.

Ki Sung-Yueng 7 Penalty finish was top drawer. South Korean showed his passing ability against a top-quality side. Denied a second goal by a wonder stop. James Forrest 6 Did well when he drifted wide and took on his man. One run created a good chance for Hooper and another searing burst won a free-kick which Mulgrew almost converted.

Mohamed Bangura 7 First Celtic start for the striker and looked Applauded by boss for backtracking.

GaryHooper 7 Expertly rolled Ekstrand to win penalty. Left after ref called spot-kick against him. Subs: Mark Wilson - slotted into right-back second half, 3. Georgios Samaras - ran the after late introduction, 3. Subs not Forster, Loovens, Twardzik, McCourt, Udinese: Handanovic, Larangeira, Badu, Basta Isla 46), Neuton, Battocchio, Abdi, Doubai, Fabbrini Armero 67), Pereyra (Benatia Subs not used: Padelli, Marsura, Pinzi.
