COWARDICE; brands Jason a yellow-belly after his Twitter rant over her hubby's bad breath.

DUMPED Dancing on Ice star Denise Welch has branded judge Jason Gardiner a coward after he fired a bitchy Twitter blast at her husband Tim Healy.

She said: "If I'd known what he was going to say, I'd have told Tim to hit him!" Auf Wiedersehen Pet star Tim marched out of the audience to confront Jason after he slagged her performance on her last night as a contestant on the ITV skating show.

A u s s i e J a s o n r e s p o n d e d b y say ing: "Oh my God, your breath!" And he went much further on Twi t t e r l a t e r, writing: "Those who think I was rude to Tim Healy can shove it.

"He got in my face with breath that smelt of stale p*** and alcohol whi lst I was talking.

"I'm not perfect but at least I have oral hygiene."

Loose Women star Denise, 52, h it back yes terday, branding Jason's at tack "childish, unfunny, cowardly and unnecessary".

She said: "When you are an ITV player, it is a ter r ible thing to say.

"I've not got back at Jason the whole series - I understand he has a role to play.

"But he has overstepped the mark. I wouldn't be with someone whose breath smelled of that.

"It's upset t ing. I thought Jason was my friend."

Tim, 59, stormed the stage on Sunday night's show after Jason said his wife's routine with skate partner Matt Evers was "like two people playing Twister".

Proud As Denise pleaded with her man to sit down, Tim marched up to Jason and told him: "She's 52 and she's got four jobs! How many jobs have you got, eh?" Denise was kicked off the show after losing her skate-off against Victoria Cross winner Johnson Beharry.

But despite her exit, and Jason's nastiness, she insisted: "I'm really proud of myself.

"Jason will never know the feeling of the public voting for you to get you through. And I'm below nine stone now - for the first time since I was born!"
