Judge Janet Kenton-Walker

Robert Bruno, 22, of 391 Elm St., Fitchburg, was sentenced to two concurrent terms of 301 days in the House of Correction after pleading guilty to assault and battery and intimidation of a witness. He was sentenced to two concurrent terms of 241 days in the House of Correction after pleading guilty to violation of an abuse prevention order and intimidation of a witness. He was ordered to pay $50 victim witness fee.

Andrew Groleau, 31, of 106 Endicott St., Worcester, was sentenced to four concurrent terms of 2 to 3 years in Walpole state prison after pleading guilty to aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (boot) and three counts of assault and battery in violation of a restraining order. He was placed on probation for 5 years, to begin upon his release, after pleading guilty to intimidation of a witness. As conditions of probation, he was ordered to undergo a substance abuse evaluation with treatment and counseling as recommended by the Probation Department, to attend a batterers' treatment program, to have no contact with the victim, and to pay $65 probation fee, $90 victim witness fee. Two counts of kidnapping were dismissed.
