 COURT RULING UPHELD IN FAVOR OF NATIONAL HERITAGE
 DALLAS, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- National Heritage, Inc. (NYSE: NHR)


announced today that an appeal by Transcontinental Realty Investors to attempt to reverse a lower court ruling in favor of National Heritage was denied by the Georgia Supreme Court. The Court's ruling resolves a dispute among the parties regarding NHI's ownership of a nursing home property in Lafayette, Ga. which has been under appeal since Feb. 1, 1991.
 In its Nov. 15, 1991 decision, the court upheld an earlier ruling to grant to National Heritage clear title to the nursing home and all other relief sought, including an award of attorneys' fees and costs.
 National Heritage, Inc. is a leading manager/operator of long term care facilities for the elderly.
