COURT JESTER; Phoney players beat Wimbledon security.

A SERIAL prankster served up a glorious hat-trick yesterday when he sneaked on to Wimbledon's Centre Court for a game of tennis with a friend.

Karl Power managed a couple of shots with Tommy Dunn before they clambered back into the crowd.

They were both dressed in tennis whites and were carrying professional-style racquets. But stewards moved in when they spotted Dunn's black socks and trainers.

A packed Centre Court - who were waiting to see Tim Henman's match - clapped and cheered as the pair made a run for it, managing to evade security.

The 33-year-old's third high-profile stunt comes a year after he duped Manchester United and the England cricket team. Karl managed to join United's line-up for a team photo.

And in August he dressed up in full cricket kit and walked out to bat during a test match at Headingley.

Yesterday the jobless labourer from Manchester said: "The game needed a smile and we achieved that."

But officials at the All England Lawn Tennis Club were furious and last night launched a review of security. A spokesman said: "It was extremely irresponsible."

Police last night said they would not be pursuing the matter any further.

Henman won his second-round match.
