AMONG the cases dealt with by Teesside Magistrates' Court on May 24 were: Natalie Green, 35, of Pallister Avenue, Brambles Farm, Middlesbrough, ordered to pay PS37.50 compensation and handed a six-month conditional discharge for theft.
Annie Allison, 19, of Glenfield Road, Stockton, handed a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a PS20 charge and PS85 costs for assault. Wayne Simpson, 30, of Bridge Road, Stockton, handed a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay PS300 compensation for damaging a fridge and door.
Michael Stokes, 20, of Wren Street, Stockton, fined PS120 and ordered to pay PS85 costs and a PS20 charge for breaching a restraining order.
Marcus Williams, 24, of Roxburgh Close, Normanby, Middlesbrough, fined PS187 and ordered to pay PS85 costs and a PS20 charge for damaging a window. Amran Bashir, 38, of Wroxton Avenue, Middlesbrough, handed six penalty points and fined PS283, ordered to pay PS150 costs and a PS20 charge for imitating a taxi driver.
Angela Benton, 52, of Garsdale Green, Middlesbrough, given an 18-week suspended jail sentence and a 12-month restraining order, ordered to pay PS150 compensation and PS85 costs for threatening conduct.
Paul Bytheway, 39, of Cedar Grove, Redcar, electronically tagged for eight weeks and ordered to pay PS300 compensation and PS400 costs for assault. Sajad Hussain, 43, of Preen Drive, Middlesbrough, handed six penalty points, fined PS433 and ordered to pay PS150 costs and PS26 charge for imitating a taxi driver.
John Lightbody, 28, of Station Road, Stockton, banned from driving for three years, handed a 12-month community order and ordered to pay PS85 costs and an PS85 charge for drink driving.
John Brady, 43, of Wembley Way, Stockton, handed a 12-month community order for breaching a community order by failing to notify of a change in address. David Dale, 29, of Bridge Road, Stockton, handed a six-month conditional discharge, and ordered to pay PS42 compensation for theft.
Cameron Ross, 23, of Amberton Road, Hartlepool, ordered to carry out 150 hours' unpaid work and pay PS120 compensation, PS600 costs and a PS60 charge for assaulting a constable.
Ian Thayne, 45, of Grange Road, Hartlepool, handed a 12-month conditional discharge, and ordered to pay PS40 costs and a PS15 charge for theft of bacon and gammon.
Paul Callaghan, 43, of Slater Road, Middlesbrough, fined PS80 for breaching supervision order.
Alex Ibbetson, 24, of Briar Road, Thornaby, Stockton, a 12-month driving ban and handed a 12-month community order, ordered to pay PS60 charge and PS40 costs for drug driving and driving without an appropriate licence or insurance, Onika Gillespie, 44, of 142 Crescent Road, Middlesbrough, handed a sixmonth conditional discharge, ordered to pay PS85 costs and PS20 charge for assault.
David Johnson, 33, of Cargo Fleet Lane, Middlesbrough, electronically tagged for 16 weeks, ordered to pay PS85 charge and PS40 costs for attempted burglary, failing to surrender and breaching a conditional discharge.
