COURT IN BRIEF.

AMONG the cases dealt with by Teesside Magistrates' Court on September 17 were: Kerry Marie Jeffries, 32, of Orwell Street, Middlesbrough, given a six-month community order with supervision for breaching a community order issued for assaulting a police officer and theft.

Donna Maxwell, 35, of Oakley Walk, Middlesbrough, banned from driving for 36 months, fined PS450 and ordered to pay PS865 costs for drink-driving.

Mohammed Adnan, 32, of West Row, Loftus, given a 12-month community order with 100 hours' unpaid work, ordered to pay PS150 compensation with PS1,146 costs for assault.

Graham Morrison, 41, of Thistle Rise, Coulby Newham, given a 12-month community order with activity requirements, ordered to pay PS100 compensation with PS255 costs for assault.

Helen Jones, 34, of Yarm Road, Stockton, given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay PS250 costs for theft.

David O'Donnell, 35, of Park Avenue, Redcar, banned from driving for 24 months and ordered to pay PS295 costs for drink-driving.

Mark Anthony Richardson, 33, of Bishopton Road, Stockton, given a 12-month community order with activity requirements and ordered to pay PS40 compensation with PS235 costs for theft and breaching a conditional discharge issued for theft.

Jordan David Riley, 25, of Crosby Walk, Thornaby, given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay PS280 costs for theft.

Neil Robson, 38, of Edward Street, Stockton, given a 12-month community order with activity requirements, ordered to pay PS226.43 compensation with PS265 costs for theft.

Kane Ripley, 23, of Cedarhurst Drive, Lingdale, given a 12-month conditional discharge, fined PS165 and ordered to pay PS600 compensation with PS105 costs for criminal damage and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.

Jamie Stoker, 25, of Brotton Road, Carlin How, given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay PS100 costs for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.

Lee Stoker, 22, of Brotton Road, Carlin How, given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay PS100 costs for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.

Kelly Marie Daley, 30, of Thrushwood Crescent, Marske, given a 12-month community order with activity requirements and ordered to pay PS190 costs for theft. Jake Aris Manson, 22, of Ulswater Avenue, Middlesbrough, fined PS140 and ordered to pay PS105 costs for soliciting a person in a public place for prostitution, driving without an appropriate licence and using a vehicle without insurance.

Among the cases dealt with by Teesside Magistrates' Court on September 18 were: Hannah Dodkins, 29, of Queen Street, Redcar, fined PS120, banned from driving for 14 months and ordered to pay costs of PS335 for drink-driving, driving without an appropriate licence, using a vehicle without insurance and obstructing a police officer. Luke Gappy, 20, of Emerson Avenue, Middlesbrough, fined PS100, banned from driving for 17 months and ordered to pay costs of PS255 for drinkdriving.

Paul John Bond, 26, of Marton Grove Road, Middlesbrough, given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay costs of PS195 for criminal damage and possession of a Class B drug.
