COURT DISMISSES DERIVATIVE SHAREHOLDER SUIT AGAINST DYCOM INDUSTRIES
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., July 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Dycom Industries, Inc. (NYSE: DY) announced today that a shareholder derivative complaint which had been filed on June 8, 1992 against it, a number of its directors and officers, and its independent accountants, Deloitte & Touche, has been dismissed by the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Dycom and other responding defendants had previously filed a motion to dismiss Jennifer Parks' action on the grounds, among others, that the court lacked jurisdiction over the action.
