By GARETH WYN WILLIAMS Daily Post Reporter AN Anglesey couple went to great lengths to turn their home into a house of horrors for Hallowe'en.

Ian and Julie Roberts from Llanfairpwll revamped the ground floor of their property for the eerie event.

And their devilish decorations included a number of petrifying props - including a full-size coffin and even an electric chair!

Around 40 ghoulish guests attended the scary celebrations.

Ian, a former football referee from Bangor, said: "We used to hold Hallowe'en parties but stopped doing them around eight years ago.

"It was while clearing out the attic a few months ago that we decided to give it one last bash."

But according to Ian, what was planned to be a frightening final party quickly grew into something much bigger.

The couple drove to Manchester to collect a pick-up truck full of Hallowe'en themed props.

Ian added: "It must have been quite a sight for anyone passing us on the A55 - the vehicle was full to the brim of Hallowe'en masks!

"Julie has worked so hard, probably for at least the last month or so. I suppose it also helped keep the burglars away!

"I wouldn't fancy coming across an electric chair or some of these scary faces in the middle of the night "In a way, it's a shame to take it all down after all the work and effort.

"We'll never say never but at the moment this is probably our last effort. It's only right to go out with a bang though."
