 COSTA RICA TOURISM COUNCIL ROLLS OUT RADIO PROMOTION
 WITH TOP-RATED SOUTH FLORIDA STATION
 MIAMI, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- On Thursday, Oct. 8, WHYI Y-100's morning show DJ's and 30 winners will depart for San Jose, Costa Rica as part of a radio promotion with the top-40 station. On Friday, Oct. 9, the morning show will broadcast live from 6-10 a.m. to South Florida from the Aurola Holiday Inn in the center of San Jose.
 The promotion, coordinated by J.G.R. & Associates and Y-100 -- is the first in a series of promotions to be rolled out across the U.S. to promote tourism to Costa Rica.
 Julie Wilson, marketing director for Y-100 said, "Costa Rica is a fantastic country with beautiful mountains, volcanoes, beaches and rainforests. The winners of this trip to Costa Rica are really in for a treat!"
 Y-100 is also offering special packages through the Broward-based travel agency "Places To Go" for those South Floridians who want to start packing their bags now!
 The station will be qualifying winners through a unique contest which is a take-off of "The Price is Right." Contestants will have to guess the price of various items in terms of colones -- Costa Rican currency. Fifteen winners (and one guest each) will be selected beginning Monday, Sept. 28 during the 6-10 a.m. morning show with Bobby Mitchell, Footy and Captain Y.
 The Y-100 Weekend Escape to Costa Rica is sponsored by the I.C.T. (Costa Rica Tourism Council), Aero Costa Rica, the Aurola Holiday Inn, The Tara Resort Hotel, Costa Rican Raft and Aventures Naturales, Bay Island Cruises and Tropical Rainbow Tours.
