         COSTA CRUISE LINES ANNOUNCES THE 'EUROLUXE GRAND TOUR'
                     ABOARD THE COSTA CLASSICA
    MIAMI, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Costa Cruise Lines' announced today that the CostaClassica, flagship of EuroLuxe Cruises, will offer a "EuroLuxe Grand Tour" in the summer of 1992.  From July 18 through Oct. 10, 1992, the CostaClassica will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime grand tour retracing the voyages of Christopher Columbus -- visiting Europe, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and America.
    1992:  a year that will see the worldwide celebration of Christopher Columbus' 500th anniversary of the discovery of the New World; a year that Spain, a country rich in history and culture, will host the XXV Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona and the World Expo in Seville; a year that the CostaClassica will offer travelers an opportunity to be a part of history and explore the best of Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean aboard a ship that epitomizes European style and luxury.
    "The concept of the 'EuroLuxe Grand Tour' fits perfectly with the product that will be offered on board the CostaClassica," said Robert R. Mahmarian, Costa's executive vice president of marketing, sales and passenger services.  "This cruise is an important element in the long-term marketing and positioning plan for Costa and EuroLuxe Cruises.  It was especially designed to reinforce and enhance Costa's worldwide reputation as Europe's leading cruise line."
    The CostaClassica's "EuroLuxe Grand Tour" will be available to travel agents to sell in segments featuring two transatlantic sailings, a grand cruise saluting the routes of Christopher Columbus, and two Western Mediterranean itineraries featuring calls at Barcelona.
    The "EuroLuxe Grand Tour" will begin with a 15-day eastbound transatlantic cruise departing Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on July 18 and arriving in Genoa, Italy, on Aug. 2.  Ports of call will include Madeira, Cadiz, Ibiza, Barcelona and St. Tropez.
    The highlight of the "EuroLuxe Grand Tour" will be a 33-day grand cruise -- "The Voyages of Columbus" -- to ports of call in Spain, the Caribbean, the United States and Mexico.  Departing Genoa on Aug. 2, the CostaClassica will sail to Barcelona, St. Cruz, St. John's, San Salvador, Nassau, Miami, Key West, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Santo Domingo, Tortola, Cadiz, Barcelona and return to Genoa on Sept. 5.
    On Sept. 5 and 12, the "EuroLuxe Grand Tour" continues with the CostaClassica sailing 7-day Western Mediterranean cruises out of Genoa to Barcelona, Cadiz, Tangiers, Ibiza and St. Tropez.
    Following a two week wet dock in Genoa, the CostaClassica will offer the final leg of the "EuroLuxe Grand Tour" with a 15-day westbound transatlantic sailing departing Genoa on Sept. 26 and returning to her home port in Fort Lauderdale on Oct. 10.
