City of Eugene officials are negotiating labor contracts with representatives from the city's firefighters' union and the union that represents the city's Hult Center for the Performing Arts stagehands. A City/Region article on Monday incorrectly said that city officials were negotiating with the police officers' union.

Eugene School District teachers will have five unpaid furlough days but will receive previously agreed-to experience- and education-based pay increases of 3.7 percent in the 2012-13 school year. A Front Page story on Sunday incorrectly said the wage increases had been reduced to 1.85 percent.

"Stand By Your Man" was written by Tammy Wynette and Billy Sherrill and first recorded by Wynette. A City/Region story on Monday about gospel singer Brenda Homar implied incorrectly that the song was by Patsy Cline.
