CORRECTION TO TIM POND WILDERNESS CAMPS, MAINE

C O R R E C T I O N -- Tim Pond Wilderness Camps, Maine
EUSTIS, Maine, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Do the phrases "frazzled," "overworked," and "wish I could get away from it all for a few days" describe your every waking moment?
Well, take heart. Harvey and Betty Calden of Tim Pond Wilderness Camps have just what you need -- a "Do-Nothing Package" that will have you doing just that -- nothing!
Get up when you want, or sleep all day. Take a walk in the woods, but don't hike -- that sounds too much like work. Paddle you own canoe on lovely Tim Pond, or take a motor boat and save the effort on your arms.
Rest, relax, eat three delicious meals a day, and never think of doing the dishes, making your bed or cleaning up after yourself.
At Tim Pond Camps in Eustis, the hardest work you'll have to do for three days is strain to hear the loons lull you to sleep each night.
"Tim Pond is exactly what people imagine when they think of a Maine retreat," said Betty Calden, owner of Tim Pond Camps. "There's a feeling of peace and quiet you won't find at a busy summer resort."
Of course there's no television or telephone to interrupt you doing nothing. On the other hand, you can spend time listening to birds, looking for moose, and taking part in a "taxing" game of cribbage each night.
There is daily maid service in the traditional Maine log cabins and Betty and her crew enjoy preparing three hearty meals that are served in the main lodge.
In the evening you can sit in front of the fire or your wood stove and chuckle at the thought of all your frazzled friends back home. Best of all, after the electric generator goes off at 10 each night, you can read by the light of your kerosene lamp or sit on your front porch discovering the wonder of the night sky.
The Do-Nothing Package is available for adults only from Aug. 16-30. The package includes two nights lodging, three meals a day, a complimentary bottle of champagne on your arrival, boats and motors, nightly cribbage tournaments, and moose-watch excursions.
Price is $200 per person for the package based on double occupancy. For more information, or to make reservations, call 207-243-2947.
